This privacy policy applies to the Plates app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by David Thomson (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as a free service.
Information Collection and Use
The Application uses third-party analytics and diagnostic services that collect limited technical and usage information only if you provide your consent. If you choose to enable analytics and crash reporting, this personal information may include:

ID code generated by third parties

The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages

The time spent on the Application

The operating system you use on your mobile device

Technical diagnostic and crash information
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.
Analytics and crash diagnostics are processed solely on the basis of your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time via Settings → Your data. Withdrawing consent will stop further collection of analytics and diagnostic data.
Workout data (such as exercises, sets, repetitions, and weights entered by you) is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to the Service Provider.
Third Party Access
If you consent to analytics and crash reporting, limited diagnostic and usage data, which may include pseudonymous identifiers, is transmitted to third-party service providers to help improve the Application.
Diagnostic data may be processed on servers located outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area by Google in accordance with their applicable data protection safeguards.

These services are provided by Google. Google acts as a data processor on behalf of the Service Provider when providing Firebase services.
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;

when the Service Provider believes in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect its rights, to protect your safety or the safety of others, to investigate fraud, or to respond to a government request;

with trusted service providers who work on behalf of the Service Provider, who do not have an independent use of the information disclosed to them, and who have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.
Your Rights
You may:

Access your information at any time on request to the Service Provider

Correct your information at any time on request to the Service Provider

Decline analytics and crash reporting when first prompted on launch

Withdraw your consent at any time via Settings → Your data

Uninstall the Application to stop all data collection
Withdrawing consent will disable analytics and crash reporting and reset the associated installation identifier used for analytics purposes.
Data Retention Policy
Analytics data is associated with a randomly generated installation identifier.
If you wish to request deletion of analytics data associated with your installation, you may:

Use the in-app setting labeled “Request Data Deletion” under Settings → Your data; or

Contact the Service Provider and provide your Installation ID (available in the app settings).
If you have deleted the Application and no longer have access to your Installation ID, it may not be possible to identify your associated analytics data.
Children
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will delete that information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider ([email protected]) so that appropriate steps can be taken.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
